Baffled

I was going to tweet this but it wouldn't fit into one a tweet. OK so I'm telephone canvassing someone. So its ringing and they pick up:

"yeah?"
"Oh hello could I speak to Anthony Smith please?"
"Oh sorry there love, I thought you were one of those cold callers. Yes I'll go get him for you"

Here I am thinking "yes. Yes I am a cold caller. This is a cold call."

But oh well, they carried on the call so I'm happy!
